Lasallian Youth Gathering 2022 partners with Birthing Kit Foundation Australia

Young Lasallians from ANZPPNG gathered for the Lasallian Youth Gathering 2022 at La Salle College, Bankstown on 6 - 9 July 2022. At every LYG there is a service component built into the program as service is an integral part of what we are called to do within the mission. This year Lasallian Mission Services partnered with Birthing Kit Foundation Australia to pack 200 birthing kits which are sent to Ethiopia, Uganda, DR Congo, India and Nigeria. The foundation also responds to local maternal and newborn health issues in these communities.

LYG students and staff members present were led by members of the Dream Team to safely pack the kits and understand the significance of what they were doing on the second last day of LYG. The Young Lasallians Team want to thank everyone that got involved and for your hearts of service to support this vital cause.
