Isabella Agnos Receives Prestigious De La Salle Award for Exemplifying the Lasallian Spirit

The De La Salle Award is the pinnacle of student recognition at St Michael’s College Adelaide.  The De La Salle Award is presented to the graduating student who best personifies the spirit of the College. In essence, it seeks to recognise and promote the schools core values.

This year’s award winner, Isabella Agnos, has fulfilled all of these criteria and has made an outstanding contribution to the St Michael’s College community for many years.

In the realm of academia, Isabellas dedication to learning, her unwavering commitment to academic excellence, and her insatiable thirst for knowledge have been an inspiration to all. She has not only excelled in her own studies but has also been a source of support and inspiration to their peers.

Beyond the classroom, Isabella has and continues to demonstrate a profound commitment to service and community. She has dedicated herself to various charitable endeavours, showing a heart full of compassion and a desire to make the world a better place for all. She truly embodies the Lasallian spirit of service to others, and we are proud to honour her selflessness and dedication.

In the domain of leadership, Isabella has been a shining example. She has been the driving force behind numerous initiatives and has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, whether it was in helping on various other year levels’ Retreats, visiting the primary campus leaders, or running College tours, she has shown the ability to inspire others, to lead by example, and to make a difference in the lives of her fellow students. Her leadership qualities have not only enriched the college but will undoubtedly continue to impact their future endeavours.

As we reflect upon Isabella’s many achievements and attributes, we are reminded of the teachings of our patron saint, St John Baptist de La Salle.
